Touchpoint 1: Recap (same day)

Summarize decisions and confirm expectations while it’s fresh.

  • Keep it short: what was discussed, what was decided
  • Include any dates or commitments
  • Save it as a template in your CRM

Touchpoint 2: Next step (before you end the meeting)

If there’s no next action, the meeting didn’t move anything forward.

  • Create a task during the meeting
  • Assign an owner (even if it’s you)
  • Set a deadline that makes sense

Touchpoint 3: Document request (one clear list)

One tidy checklist beats five separate emails.

  • Group documents by category
  • Give examples of acceptable documents
  • Set one deadline and one upload/return method
